Here is what the training includes:

• Individual and group attention from Trevor and Tracy Bryant - USA T Level 1 Coaches, N.E.S.T.A. Certified, and pending USA Cycling Level 3 Coaches.

• Help choosing an event. We can help you find the right event for you and your goals.

• Custom plan for your event. This will include a day by day schedule of workouts to prepare you for your event.

• Meeting once per week for group training(everyone may be training for different events, but we will meet for a group workout to focus on developing specific skills). During the cold months, we will start withindoor cycling and strength training. Meetings will be held in the space next to the Max Muscle in Hazel Dell. You will need your bike and bike trainer (here is the one we like and use if you do not have one). Training will move to Klineline pond for swimming when the weather warms up.

Training will start on Tuesday, January 17th, 2012, at 6:30PM. Price is $50.00 per 4 week program. Minimum training per event - Sprint 8 weeks, Olympic 12 weeks, Half Ironman 20 weeks, Full Ironman 28 weeks. Optional VO2 testing on site for an additional $55.00 (ask for details).

Your fitness level and goals should be the key factor in determining how many sessions it should take you to get prepared for your event. You can start now to train for your event or just work on building a solid base before you start ramping up. Group is limited to 10 people so be sure to sign up early.

1) Core 4 for Everyone

At Max Muscle we believe there are four supplements key to proper nutrition, diet, and health. We call it the Core 4. Core 4 consists of Protein, Glutamine, Multi-Vitamin, and Fatty Acid. The protein is key because it supports healthy muscle growth and fat loss. Without enough protein, the body is very inefficient. Glutamine is a key amino acid that has so many uses we could go on forever. Most importantly it is an anti-catabolic amino acid that helps with muscle repair and recovery, growth hormone support, immune support, and intestinal health. A good Multi-Vitamin is crucial for proper cell function, nutrient absorption, energy levels, and so much more. Read more...
